Took a route back to Aberystwyth via Devils Bridge and found quite a few good North facing slopes. Decided to use the one near Aberffyd as it looked the most challenging, the snow was much thicker here as it wasnt in the sun, musta been a good 6 inches.
The slope was steep at the start sloping of gently at the bottom, wasnt massive either meaning we could get in as many runs as possible.
As I had the boots on, I had the first few runs, trying to S turn all the way down to the bottom, managed to fall over at every turn though, had a few more runs each time improving somewhat, found it really hard to go Goofy, much preferred riding regular. It felt a bit similar to Wakeboarding which I managed to do last summer.

Whilst we were waiting for the snowboard, we set up 2 tracks for the rubber inner tubes to run down where we had races. These were great fun although the spray generated from them was a bit too much at times meaning you couldnt see where you were going. The runs were getting faster and faster each time as the snow was getting more compact, this was more fun apart from having to bail of at much higher speeds.

Got another few gos on the snowboard, decided to be a bit more adventurous this time and start using the gulley where I could attempt to pull of a few jumps, managed to generate some speed before I entered the gulley and tried to pull of a jump which didnt go according to plan, just went head first into the snow, was very amusing for the others though. I managed to get in a nother few runs each time my turns were improving and I was finally getting used to riding Goofy.
Great session, as good as it gets in Wales and it was my first ever snowboarding session so 5 stars
